Goat anti Anthrax PA83 Protective antigen F(ab')2 antibody
Fab'2 pepsin digested caprine anti anthrax PA 83 polyclonal antibody supplied at 10mg/mL in sterile 0.15M NaCl.
The use of immunoglobulin fragments eliminates non-specific binding between the Fc portions of antibodies and the Fc receptor on cells. F(ab')2 fragment antibodies are generated by pepsin digestion of whole IgG antibodies to remove most of the Fc region while leaving intact some of the hinge region. F(ab')2 fragments have two antigen-binding F(ab) portions linked together by disulfide bonds.
The source E.coli derived recombinant anthrax PA 83 antigen was conjugated to a proprietary muramyl dipeptide like microparticle adjuvant designed to elicit high antibody titer.
